Ms. Erin Sheehy
Ms. Erin Sheehy, LEED AP, founded Environmental Compliance Solutions, Inc., in 1995.
ECS consults to public- and private-sector clients regarding air quality compliance and greenhouse gas inventories. Ms. Sheehy has over 22 years of air quality compliance experience. Her career began at the South Coast Air Quality Management District where she specialized in the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports. ECS is proud to have a client list that includes: Anheuser-Busch, Waste Management, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Occidental Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, Dunn-Edwards Paint, Baxter Healthcare, Love’s/Musket Corporation, Los Angeles World Airports (LAX), United States Postal Service, and the Port of Los Angeles.
Ms. Sheehy holds a degree in Economics from Smith College as well as certificates in Hazardous Waste Management from UC Riverside and Integrated Solid Waste Recycling from California Polytechnic University Pomona. She also completed UCLA’s Entrepreneurial MBA program.
In 1998, Environmental Compliance Solutions was honored by Bank of America with a Small Business Award and, in 1999, by Minorities in Business Magazine with a Prism award. Ms. Sheehy was also selected as a Regional Winner for the Cover Girl “Women at Their Best” Awards in 1999.
Client projects are completed by a team of 10 highly trained engineers and scientists.
Specialties include emission inventories, greenhouse gas strategies, emission reduction credit brokering, compliance auditing, air quality permitting, sustainability projects, and grant application submittals.
Ms. Tara Tisopulos
Ms. Tisopulos is a Senior Air Quality specialist at ECS with over 14 years of experience in air quality analysis, including Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, Environmental Impact Reports, Mitigation Monitoring Plans, Overriding Considerations, etc. for both SCAQMD rule projects as well as Lead Agency projects for non-SCAQMD sources such as refineries, chemical plants, etc. Ms. Sheehy completed much of the cost-effectiveness documentation for the diesel mitigation measures contained in the EIR/EIS prepared for the LAX Modernization plan.
Ms. Tisopulos was also the reviewer of dozens of Lead Agency CEQA documents for which the SCAQMD was the Responsible or Commenting Agency. Since joining ECS, Ms. Tisopulos has authored an Addendum prepared pursuant to CEQA, produced several air quality research reports and air quality analyses for the LAX Modernization Project, summarized all rules and regulations for the APCDs located throughout California, assisted with air quality audits and prepared a guidance manual for facility compliance with air quality regulations.
